Unc didn't grow up with a GameBoy. He grew up with a PC, bootleg NES carts, and a deep love for Mario that nobody in his circle fully understood. When Pokémon hit, he was hooked — emulating it on his computer without even knowing the word "emulation" or that a handheld console existed for it. He just knew he had to play it.

Fast forward to his 30s, and that same kid wanted to reconnect with those memories — but properly this time. No bootlegs. No emulators. Real carts, real boxes, real shelf presence. The problem? Half the stuff he wanted never made it to his region.

So he learned to import.

He tracked down the games, figured out the channels, and started building a collection he was genuinely proud of. Then his people noticed. Friends asked. Then friends of friends. Then strangers on the internet started sliding into the DMs — "Unc, can you get this for me?"

And just like that, Importer Unc was born.

Today Unc sources new releases, retro gems, and regional exclusives for everyone who grew up loving games but couldn't always get their hands on the right ones. If it exists somewhere in the world, Unc's probably already looking for it.
